1. Apollo (20-5):

The Eagles ended the regular season with a 78-72 win over Madisonville North-Hopkins.

 

Apollo will now prepare to do battle with Daviess County in the first round of the 9th district tournament. Apollo defeated Daviess County twice during the regular season.

 

 

2. Owensboro (16-10):

The Red Devils ended the 2013/14 regular season on a bad note going 0-2 during the final week of the regular season. Owensboro fell to Hopkinsville 83-76 then turned around and lost to Henderson County 62-51.

 

The Red Devils will now get ready to face off against Owensboro Catholic in the first round of the 9th district tournament. Owensboro defeated the Aces twice during the regular season.

 

 

3. Hancock County (17-7):

The Hornets ended the regular season on a 4 game win streak, winning all four games during the final week of the 2013/14 season.

 

The Hornets defeated Breckinridge County 78-65 on Monday. Hornets would return to action on Tuesday hosting Trinity Whitesville. Hancock County would come out on top with a 49-36 victory. Hancock County would defeat Grayson County 80-59 and to close out the regular season the Hornets defeated Brown 69-48.

 

The Hornets will now prepare to do battle against Frederick Fraize in the first round of the 11th district. The Hornets defeated Frederick Fraize twice during the regular season.

 

 

4. Owensboro Catholic (16-8):

The Aces ended the regular season with two straight victories over Trinity Whitesville 69-24 and Ohio County 66-57.

 

Owensboro Catholic will face Owensboro in the first round of the 9th district tournament. Owensboro Catholic has fell to Owensboro twice during the regular season.

 

 

5. Daviess County (15-9):

The Panthers defeated Grayson County 68-66 for their only win, their only game during the final week of the regular season.

 

Daviess County will travel to Apollo for a first round district matchup with the Eagles. Apollo has defeated Daviess County twice this season.

 

 

6. McLean County (13-12):

McLean County ended the regular season with three big wins. The Cougars got things started with a 64-61 overtime win against Muhlenberg County. They would continue where they left off by defeated Edmonson County 59-49. The Cougars would defeat Union County 65-61 to close out the regular season on a four game win streak.

 

McLean County will now battle Muhlenberg County, a team they split with during the regular season and just a week ago, in the first round of the 10th district tournament.

 

 

7. Ohio County (13-12):

The Eagles ended the regular season on a bad note, losing both of their remaining games to Calloway County 67-66 and Owensboro Catholic 66-57.

 

The Eagles will now await the winner of the McLean County/Muhlenberg County game in the first round of the 10th district tournament. Ohio County, due to a 3 team district is automatically in the 3rd region tournament.

 

 

8. Muhlenberg County (10-14):

The Mustangs ended the regular season going 1-1, with the lone win over Christian County 60-45 and their loss coming to McLean County 64-61 in overtime.

 

Muhlenberg County will now face off against McLean County in the first round of the 10th district tournament. Muhlenberg County split the regular season with McLean County.

 

 

9. Butler County (12-10):

The Butler County Bears finished the regular season at 12-10 going 1-1 in the final week with the lone win over Frederick Fraize 82-65 and their lone loss coming to Edmonson County 60-59.

 

The Bears will now face off against Edmonson County, a team they just lost to last week, in the first round of the 12th district tournament.

 

 

10. Grayson County (9-16):

Grayson County ended the regular season on a bad note going 0-2 during the final week, losing to Daviess County 66-64 and Hancock County 80-59.

 

The Cougars will now face off against Trinity Whitesville in the first round of the 12th district tournament. Grayson County has defeated Trinity Whitesville twice this season.
