South Oldham 49 Trimble County 46

The Lady Raiders had a very lackluster performance tonight, only scoring 2 pts in the first quarter. This is not the team I am accustomed to watching!

Congrats to Coach Higdon and the Dragons on a good win, Coach Higdon is one of the best in the 8th. This is the second tough game in 3 days for Coach Stewart and the Raiders, the Gallatin game possibly drained them physically and mentally. I expect them to bounce back and prepare for another battle with the Dragons in the 29th District tournament.

A 2 point quarter is hard to overcome. Sounds like TC turned up the intensity a little bit after that, but I would guess that the South Oldham defense had a little bit to do with keeping the Raiders well below their scoring average.

Congrats to the Lady Dragons coming home with the W. Good team effort all around. Hopefully some learning moments as well towards the end of the game. Players have to be aware of "Time & Score." Be wise and treat the ball like gold. Next meeting will be HUGE!

That was true for both teams, certainly.
