Apollo continues to reign supreme on the 3rd region. Apollo currently sits at 7-1 in the region splitting with region favorite Owensboro.

The Eagles picked up two good wins last week, defeating Owensboro 79-75, which topped the loss earlier in the year to Owensboro 71-68. The Eagles had four different players to have double-doubles.

Coach Sergeant and the Eagles would repeat the victory the very next day when they defeated Owensboro Catholic.

After winning 6 straight and 7 of their last 10, the Bears have cooled off, losing their last three games, one of those was last week, when they fell in overtime in a heartbreaker to Edmonson county 67-65. Coach Dockery and the Bears are hoping that this week is much better to them.
