In a game that featured two of the top teams in the third region in Owensboro and Apollo, the game would go wire to wire with Owensboro edging the Eagles 61-58 in a thriller.

 

 

Owensboro Catholic out-duels Daviess County 55-53:

Some could call this an upset as Daviess County was 9-2 coming in while Owensboro Catholic was 4-3 coming in. This game, much like Apollo/Owensboro game would go from wire to wire but would only have one winner and that was Owensboro Catholic as they out-dueled Daviess County 55-53.
