Carroll won this mostly on the glass. They hit the boards hard & it paid off. Bracken played a lot of zone after a rough start & while it did slow the Panthers down some, they paid the price in rebounding. Carroll County has nice balance & I liked their intensity.

Bracken County played really well in the latter part of the 1st quarter & the entirety of the 2nd, but they were outscored something like 22-11 in the 3rd. Polar Bears gave up too many second chance opportunities & got no offensive production from players named something other than Crawford or May.

Bracken has a rematch with Beechwood tomorrow afternoon while Carroll will play Pike County Central tomorrow night.
