Somerset 68 Casey County 54

Final.

Good district win for Somerset after dropping a district game to Rockcastle County. The 47th could be more competitive than expected.

It will take awhile for Somerset to gel but they did get a needed win at Casey. Somerset had difficulty against Casey the first half with Ryan Dishman going out in the 1st quarter with a bloody nose, but he and the team turned it on the second half with Dishman scoring 19 of his 24 when he returned to action. His brother junior Tyler Dishman added 14 points and freshman Landon Powell had 12.

Casey started 3 freshmen so they are young. With the coach they have I expect them to be a tough out in the district tournament.
