Dixie Heights 53 Grant County 41

Dixie registers their first win of the season. Tibbs leads the way with 21 points and 8 boards. Grant Co. battled and would not let Dixie pull away.

Dixie had built a 10 point lead before Grant County pulled even at the end of the first half. The Lady Braves could not stop Tibbs off the block early on. That caused the lead to build. Grant could not take the lead and eventually it slipped away. We want to wish the best to Jordan Allen from Grant County who went down with a knee injury. Left on crutches and ice to get it looked at.

Also note that this was by far the best officiated game of the short season! Well done by Perry Wing, Time Reed and Robert Burkhardt Jr.
