in KY Boys Basketball (High School)

Featured Replies

Two teams split last season. Wolfe County won 56-44 at Wolfe while Estill County won 52-42 in the regional tournament.

Both teams return majority of their team. Wolfe lost Brett Denniston (averaged 1.7 PPG) and John Toomer (transferred to PCC. Averaged 10 ppg) last season for Wolfe County.

Estill County lost Brandon Morris (averaged a double double each game) and Colby Baber (who averaged 10 ppg and shot 32% from 3). Estill does get Trevor Jones back who sit all last season due to a torn ACL.

Wolfe County (1-0): @ Lee County (79-60 W)

Estill County (1-2): Hazard (71-41 L), Lee County (69-48 W), South Laurel (63-43 L)

PPG: Wolfe County - 79 PPG (Only played 1 game).....Estill County - 51 PPG (Played 3 games)

Massey Prediction: Estill County 55-54

This game will more than likely go right down to the wire. I think Estill wins this matchup at home, 63-59
