ASHLAND — During its current three-game winning streak over Raceland, Fairview’s had two constants: at least 250 rushing yards on offense; and at least three interceptions on defense.

To run its roll to an unprecedented four in a row over the Rams, Fairview must continue to cook up a similar recipe, according to coach Nathan McPeek.

“If you look back at the last several years in this game, it’s always turnovers and penalties that decide it,” McPeek said.

Raceland, ranked No. 7 in Class A in the latest Associated Press poll, hosts the third-ranked Eagles tonight at 7:30 at Rams Stadium.

Nice article, I had said that fviews line and their special teams would be key. Raceland needs to control the Eagles kick returns, Raceland has an extremely strong line as well so the two teams line play are both very good. That fact stands to reason due to both coaches were standout D1 Linemen themselves, McPeek at Marshall and Maynard at U.K..s
