The state-ranked Ryle Lady Raiders volleyball team dominated the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds, 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-23) on Wednesday.

NewCath finished the regular season with a 14-16 record. But the host Thoroughbreds still won the top seed in the 36th District Tournament. They take on either Bellevue or Newport at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

NewCath was up 22-18 before "the wheels feel of the bus". They just didn't seem to be to motivated :idunno:, it was pretty ugly.

Ryle is the "real deal" they set the ball nice and the have plenty of girls who know how to jump and "mash the ball"!! :scared: A couple are not that tall but can flatout elevate.

Possible Region 9 playoff preview.
