Scott 4 Campbell County 0 (37th District Semi-Final)

Featured Replies

Great game for Scott. Blake Schneider has a huge impact for the Eagles when he is on the field. One of the best game defensively for Scott. I was told by a few parents that they were missing their 2 best defenders as well. CJ Seay played the game of his life, making some tremendous saves. Scott advances on to the Finals which will be played at Campbell County vs. The winner of Brossart and Calvary.

Scott will play Bishop Brossart at Campbell Co. Thursday @7:30

Congrats to Scott. Why would they have been short 2 of their best defenders?

I believe a Red Card and one was Ineligible.

When did one of Scott's best defenders get a red card? Which game was that? Just curious.....

According to khsaa DQ report, one player received a red card against CovCath 10/3/13 (2 game suspension against Conner (10/5) and Camp Co (10/15). The other player received a red card against Conner 10/5 (2 game suspension against Camp Co (10/15) and Brossart (10/17)).

A side note: the same player red carded against CovCath also received a red card in the JV Regional Final against Brossart on 10/5. So according to the khsaa, that player must sit out two subsequent varsity games, but is allowed to participate (and get carded) in a JV game, with no consequence (zero game suspension). Interesting.
