St. Henry 3 Ryle 3 (Boys)

Featured Replies

St. Henry and Ryle tie 3-3 at Ryle tonight in a hard fought match. Ryle striker Suleiman (sp?) was very strong tonight. SH gets goals from Grome, Wesdorp and Fugazzi. Fugazzi's goal was from midfield on two bounces that Ryle's freshman keeper appeared to misjudge.

This was a physical game kept well under control by the officiating crew.

Ryle announcer was annoying. Calling a player rude from the press box is a little over the line IMO.

Calling play by play at soccer games is unacceptable. I believe there's a bylaw with the KHSAA regarding public address announcing. Is anyone familiar with this and why it's not enforced?

If it's the same announcer that Ryle has had the last few years.........he is the worst. No business calling a soccer game. I'm not familiar w/ the rules (if any) on this.

If it is the same one from last year, he calls it as if he calling a gme on the radio "number 12 passes it to number 5, number 5 takes two touches.....etc..."

If it is the same person, I do understand that there is a sad back story around his attachment to NKY soccer (used to also do Scott games), but someone has to say something.....

Can't be as bad as the guy CCH had doing the Cooper game.
