Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from North Laurel? Remember, please be constructive.

Peyton Broughton, who saw time as an 8th grader last year, will be expected to carry a much larger portion of the load. Broughton is widely regarded as one of the best young, up-and-coming players in the mountains. Losing big man Jake Allen to Clay County will definitely be a big blow to the Jaguars, although they played a large portion of last year without him at full strength due to injuries. Considering this, North Laurel may only be as good as the scoring punch Broughton can provide.
