Final.

Since no one posted anything in the update thread, how about some details for somebody???? Did this one come down to a missed extra point?

Yes..really good game actually. KC was up 21-7 and Pburg came back to tie it up. KC answered with a quick scoring drive in the 4th Quarter to take a 28-21 lead.

Pburg drove for a score with around 6:00 to go when their RB had a 16 yard gain and fumbled at the 10..the ball rolled inside the 5 and a Pburg player recovered and fell into the endzone. Pburg missed the XP.

KC converted several key 3rd Downs and 4th Downs on their ensuing drive including a 3rd and 16 where the QB reversed field twice to force a 4th and 1. Pburg got the ball back at their 22 with under a minute left and made it interesting as they got into Panther territory but their last ditch short pass and lateral all over the field play came up well short.

The Gist kid from KC had 35 carries and well over 200 yards and put KC on his back all night.

Both teams are not to the form of some of their past teams, but this was a very entertaining game nonetheless.
