Congrats to former NewCath volleyball standout and current Beechwood head coach Alyx Schulte on her 1st career coaching victory. The Tigers downed NewCath (25-19, 25-23) in the 1st round of the All "A" Regional last night at Beechwood. Alyx gets her 1st career win against her former coach and Aunt, Vicki Fleissner. Alyx is also the big sister to NewCath hoopster Jake Schulte.

Since this is Alyx's second year of coaching, I think she got her first win back in August of 2012. However, it still doesn't diminish a win over your former team, coach, and Aunt all in the same night. That's big stuff.

Lawnboy, I have no doubts that you will soon be as enlightened about the great sport of volleyball and the happenings in NKY as you are about fast pitch. By next year we will expect the play by play of the Breds volleyball just like you provide for softball.
