Logan County wins their first region tournament since 1989. Over the past 8 seasons, the 4th region has seen 8 different champions. Congrats to the Cougars! They will now face either St. X or Male up in Lexington.

That's an incredible streak. I have a tough time seeing it continuing, but it's still incredible. Franklin-Simpson, Glasgow, or Greenwood are teams that have not won in that span that could extend the streak, but there are no viable candidates beyond that. The other 6 teams that haven't won a region title in the last 8 years have NEVER won a region title. Only one of them (Russellville) has even so much as made a region final and that was 15 years ago.
