My kid was going thru a slump I thought, she went from hitting .370 to .229, deep balls in the outfield became little bloopers, hits in the infield became little dinky dribblers. We found out that her bat was cracked. We changed bats and in the last 19 at bats she has 2 HR's, 2 triples, 3 doubles, and 4 singles, her avg. is back up to .340, so if it looks like your kid is making contact and the ball is not going anywhere check your bat.

2012 Xeno. I had always heard composites only had so many hits in them, I didn't believe it, now I do. The bat was used from February 2012 til last week, alot of games and hitting practice. I bought the same bat again it has some pop.

If you got a year out of Xeno you did better than most.

Well looks like we pushed it a little to far. Probably should purchased before this season.

I have no clue if those numbers about hits in a bat are correct but my dd does not use a practice bat, I am guessing she gets in at least 500 swings a week and she's had the bat since Jan and it still seems to have some pop.

You should never use a Composite Bat if the temps are below 60.
