This game began in the top of the 4th inning with SK batting. This was a big game and for the #1 seed in the district.

SK was leading 2-0 in the top of the 4th.

SK had several hits but could not push another run across.

SK's pitcher Lang struck out the first 8 Walton batters she faced. She had them off balance with only a handful of foul balls. The only baserunner was a weak grounder to SS which was thrown into the dugout. The ended with 13 k's, 2 hitter, and her 4th shutout of the year.

Hanna Perry came up with the big 2 rbi hit in the first inning to score Draud and Lang.

Looks like SK (#1 seed) will face Williamstown (#4 seed) in the first round of the districts.

Congrats to Erica! Great kid, great player.

I would think you could make a pretty good argument that Erica Lang may be having the best year out of any of the NKY pitchers.
