I think it's strange how the two newspapers list are so different. For instance Shumpert is a courier journal first team selection but only a honorable mention in the lexington herald. I guess some coaches only respond to their favorite newspaper.

As is usually the case Northern Ky area gets overlooked when the Herald Leader or the CJ pick their all-state teams..At the very least Jordan Scott (Conner) and Jessica Jones (Boone Cty) deserved to be recognized somewhere on these teams. Congratulations to Olivia Voskuhl (NDA) and Leah Schaefer (Highlands) for being selected to the Herald Leader team.

I just now saw that. Thanks for the info. In my opinion both Jordan Scott (Conner) and Nicole Kiernan(NCC) should have received more than just honorable mention. Both had outstanding years. Congratulations to both of them. Jessica Jones (Boone Cty) not getting any mention on either team is an oversight in my opinion also.
