So. Sarah Neace and 8th grader Haley Meyers combine on a 3 hitter. Neace goes 4 innings striking out 7 and allowing only a bloop single that led off the 4th and Meyers goes the final 2 allowing 2 hits and striking out 3.

 

The Breds were led at the plate by a trio of sophomores, 2B Casey Kohls 3-4, 2 doubles, HR, 4 RBI's. C Kristen Schreiber HR, 2 RBI's. And 3B Loren Zimmerman ends the game with a 3-run homer.

 

Tip off the hat to Bellevue pitcher Maddie Blevins who hit a very nice double and struckout 9 batters. :thumb:

 

The Breds will play Holy Cross in the 1st Semi-Final game tomorrow at NKU at 4:30.
