Congrats to Texasdad and his daughter Lauren Slatten who is this years award winner for the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky sportswomen of the year for softball. She will be up for the overall sportswomen of the year vs the other 10 womens sports.

 

Maddy was the award winner for softball last year and I believe she was the only junior. It was a great banquet with Notre Dame's basketball coach Muffett McGraw as the guest speaker. It was for sure one of the nicest things that we have been a part of. The Greater Cincinnati/NKY Women's Sports Association is first class and do a great job at promoting women's sports.
