This score surprises me, especially considering it was at Lynn Camp. Does anyone have any details or stats on this one? I saw a boxscore in the Herald and if I remember correctly Bray led Lynn Camp in scoring with Tanner the only other player in double figures with 10.

Sounds like Jackson did a good job at shutting down Dixon. LC had two very close wins over Jackson earlier this season, and its tough to beat a teams 3 times. LC hasn't played very well since they beat Knox Central, there still is a lot of the season left and hopefully they can turn it around.

By far the worst game of the year for LC, in their other losses a bad peroid hurt them, but tonight the cats looked to be out of the game IMO from the start, and it only got worse. Give Jackson credit they have alot of guys who play very very hard and carry out their game plan. They shut down the inside and let the guards try to beat them. LC really needs to regroup or another season with promise will soon be gone. I agree it is hard to beat a team three times but this is no excuse for the cats, they have some talent, and are not using it.

I was hoping that the Lynn Camp seniors, especially Dixon, Eggen & Siler, might be able to make a run in the All-A and make it to the state tournament. Well...........they now need to concentrate on getting better in the areas that got them beat against the likes of Pineville and Barbourville as these are the teams that stand in their way of reaching the regional tournament, which I'm sure is another of their goals for this year.

Did you see the question and answer interview they did with Cody Dixon in the weekly paper yesterday? I would have loved for Cody to get to play in the All-A state since he missed the state tournament last year, but maybe Lynn Camp can come together and make it to the regional tournament.

No I haven't seen the paper but I will find one. I also hope they can make the regional but beating Pineville at their own place will be a tough chore. Knowing the family it was a diffcult time for them when Cody was not able to play in the state tournment, but the district and regional as well.

Cody is a fine young man, from a very nice family. I wonder if he would have made a big difference for the Hounds this season. Another inside presence and some much needed height to battle South. Guess we will never know, I hope he made the best decision and I too would love to see him lead the Wildcats to the 13th region.

That a way Jackson County, you make all of us proud in more ways than one. :devil:
