Final from East was 90-76. It was a 4 point game with 90 seconds left. Sadly, the officials dictated the outcome from there. Mercer got a rebound and the ref called a foul on Mercer. IMO was the wrong call but, regardless, a Mercer player was hurt and the coach went on the floor to check on him and was assessed a T. Then they called another T. Ended up as an 8 point swing to East. Game over.

 

Hard fought game by both teams. Teams split in the regular season. They will play again in the first round of the district.

Who got hurt for Mercer resulting in the technical?

Jordan Duncan. Nothing intentional by East but he was hurt nonetheless.

Not sure. Was bleeding around eye and heard he also had a scratched cornea (or something like that). Unfortunately for Mercer the district is at East this year.
