Southwestern finally got a good 12th Region win.

 

 

It was 60-40 Southwestern in the 3rd quarter at one point. The 4th quarter must have been awesome.

Good matchup between two of the top teams in the 12th.

How good is Southwestern? I have not seen them play this year.

They aren't as good as they were last year. They have defeated Dunbar and now West Jessamine. Every other team they have played that is considered equal to them or perceived to better than them they have lost to. That list includes Lafayette, Wayne County, Perry County Central and Pulaski County twice. They are currently 16-5. They are still good enough to repeat as 12th Region champs as long as they have Kapinga and Edwards on the court even though they have yet to defeat Wayne County or Pulaski County.

 

I watched them play Lafayette and they were no match for Lafayette.
