What does Hopkinsville need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Hopkinsville last proved they were better but still not very good. They allowed less than 27 points just one. They did win two district games and were rewarded by getting destroyed by Warren Central in the playoffs. This year bears watching in Hopkinsville. The coach says they are close to turning the corner but the Hoptown faithful want more than promises as the cross-town program continues to rack up playoffs wins and lopsided victories over Hopkinsville.

 

Hoptown has some playmakers returning but they were so indecisive at quarterback last year because of injuries and the different styles they had. Sophomore Kyle Graham appears to have the inside track at QB this year although senior Darrel Oates was a dual threat there last year. Junior Zac Atkins and senior Dee Henry both return in the backfield. Dee Killebrew and Cliff Thomas are back on defense.

 

I think Hopkinsville will be much improved this year and should finish above .500
