What a game. Wolfe lead 6-0 then Powell scored 8 straight to take a 2 point lead. Wolfe maybe had a 2 point at some point during the game but after Powell re-gained the lead they never looked back. Late in the game Lawson (Wolfe) hit a 3 to cut the Powell lead 64-61 with 26 seconds left, Wolfe would foul Powell and the Pirates would sink their free throws to seal a 66-61 win over visiting Wolfe County.

Wolfe was lead in scoring by Jeffrey Terrill (who actually was the leading scorer in the game) with 22 pts. He also had 11 boards. Kyle Lacy lead Powell with 15 (coming off the bench) including 3/5 from 3 and 2/3 from the stripe.

Even tho Terrill had 11 boards, Powell County actually out rebounded Wolfe 33-26, their leading rebounder (Brett Goodwin) who had 9 boards.

Wolfe goes to 4-5 while Powell goes to 4-7
