Trinity 79 Bowling Green 49

BIG BLACK JACK

Final from Louisville. BG played a district game last night, turned around and played a top 3 team today. Purples trailed big from the start.

Trinity is so quick. Their defense is outstanding. They don't have the size of last year but they still have the "all over you defense". They shoot it better than last year but size could be an issue come March. No Quick tonight. Sometimes they are too fast. Commit a lot of charges. But they are so fun to watch. So athletic.

Trinity 79, Bowling Green 49: Darryl Hicks notched 14 points to lead the host Shamrocks (2-0) past the Purple (2-2). Teammate Michael Stafford had eight points and 10 rebounds. Necarius Fant led Bowling Green with 17 points.
