After attending a fun filled finals weekend the one thing that stands out to me is teams dressing for games in the end zone just before warmups because of inadequate locker room facilities. It is a shame that Belfry drove hours on a bus and then dressed on the turf while the pre game clock wound down on an already abbreviated warmup. How could those kids possibly have been in the right frame of mind. Credit to the team, and their coaches for stepping up. Fast forward few hours later, there is Highlands team, dressing and getting taped by a trainer on the turf while pre game warm ups have started.

For teams to make it this far and have to put up with such distractions is silly. This is supposed to be a D1 facility. How can they not have adequate space for the basic functions of the game.

I agree and that is the 1 problem I have with the facilities at Western. I've been in the locker room on both sides of the stadium. 4 years ago Trinity ahd to share the Western locker room with another team so while Trinity was getting ready for their game the other team was in there after theirs. The other side is no better. That locker room is so small I don't see how it is suitable for a D1 college team. They need to make drastic improvements to the locker rooms.

The locker room situation was a joke for the visiting teams on the scoreboard!!!! Oh how I long for the days of Louisville & the confines of Papa Johns Stadium.....
