Ursuline shot the lights out from 3. HHS made a run, but UA pushed it back out in the 4th. Ursuline has a very nice team. Good mix of inside and outside play.

HHS didn't have their best night shooting. Not sure what the stats were, but HHS missed a lot of open looks tonight.

Oh well, some nights you got it and some nights you don't.

I think that Highlands has one of the better teams in the 9th this year. They are going to win a lot of games and get better as the year continues. They have very good depth and one of the top players in Leah Shafer. This should be a very fun team to watch going forward.

I would agree. If they can hit open shots (or in some cases be prepared to shoot the open shots when they're open) and defend better, they could put togther a really nice season. The defense and rebounding has to pick up. Some look glued to the floor at times. Some really "dig in" on defense and some look like they could take it or leave it. You have to play defense as a team. Rebound MUST get better! There were some very nice individual "rip downs", but there were other times that no one even went after the ball! I know that gets better in time and I hope it does! I'm critical because I see how close this team is to being very good. It may come together and it may not. I hope it does.

One thing is sure, they will be tested prior to tournament time. They play a great schedule. Sacred Heart and Brossart coming up with Manual, Montgomery Co and Woodford Co down the road, along with all the local favorites. Should be fun!
