An early 41st District matchup pits Woodford County, off a big win over Dunbar, against Frankfort. Woodford County got 27 from Eli Boggess and 20 from Chris Honabach (who didn't play last year but Coach Scott Hundley had predicted would have a good scoring season this year) in their 2-point surprise win over Dunbar Tuesday. Frankfort is coming off a disappointing season opening loss at home to DeSales (the Panthers do play Berea tonight). I couldn't find a box score from Tuesday's loss, but I am hearing Aaron Jackson has decided not to pla his senior basketball season. Maybe someone can confirm or deny that, but if true it is a huge blow for the Panthers as he was the team's top returnee.

I look for Woodford County to win irregardless of Jackson's status, but by at least 15 if he is not playing.

Woodford by 12. Hundley's boys will have to have a bit of a letdown coming off their huge road win against PLD. Aaron Jackson is not playing. Therefore, a potential region appearance by the Panthers just took a huge hit. Woodford will pull away late to get district win #1.
