Is this too strong NCC or too weak Dixie or just a throw away game?

Sounds like too strong NCC and Hatton's shooting is keeping it somewhat respectable.

 

Hatton launches a 3pter at buzzer to end the 3rd....almost from halfcourt to cut the lead to 14.

Colonels younger players may not be responding well in their first real Varsity action. Hatton is the only true player who has played in big Varsity games.

Beuter playing pretty good and Seibert's offense is down because he is guarding Hatton.

 

55-41 NCC with 5:41 left in game.

 

Hatton starting to take over.

All of Hatton's 3's are from NBA land a couple from the Volleyball line according to my son.

59-50 with 3:10 left.

 

Dixie hanging tough.

Hatton is singlehandedly bringing the Colonels back.

 

59-55 NCC with 2:12 left in the game.

 

Another bomb from the Volleyball line and these are with hands in his face.

Dixie on a 14-4 run.

61-59 with 49 seconds left NCC

 

What a freaking comeback by Colonels.

Hatton cannot be stopped, NCC has 2 defenders trying everything they can.

63-59 NCC with 28 seconds left.

65-61 NCC with 12 seconds left.

Sounds like a typical 9th Region game. Give the boys from Dixie time to adjust to the varsity level.
