Any predictions??? Surprises??? Marquee games??? Pre-season rankings???

Looks like Lex. Catholic and South Oldham are once again playing very tough schedules. Lex. Catholic's first 3 matches all on the road against South Oldham, Highlands, and Sacred Heart. Brutal start to the 2006 campaign. Not to mention NCC, Greenwood, Assumption, Notre Dame, Lafayette, Cov. Holy Cross. They are also hosting the best regular season tournament September 11-16th. South Oldham opens with Lex. Catholic. Then play North Oldham, Male, Highlands, Tates Creek, and Oldham County in 9 days. They are playing in the Lex. Catholic Cup and hosting the Lady Dragon Cup the following week(still not sure who the tourney field is). Finish the season with 4 of the best, Sacred Heart, Woodford County, Assumption, and Elizabethtown.

Wow that is possibly the toughest schedule I've seen in girls soccer ever.

I would say that is why Lex. Catholic and South Oldham are always in the hunt come post-season, because they are very prepared. NKY on the girls side will be interesting. Several teams with solid returners. Highlands is still the team to beat followed by NCC, NDA, Holy Cross, and several others in the chasing pack.
