I wanted to send congrats to the winningest coach at any level of Football for winning his 600th game tonight.

Summerville coach John McKissick wins 600th game - MaxPreps News

Coach McKissick is the Football coach at the high school my wife graduated from. Summerville SC (just outside charleston) He has coached for an incredible 61 years and has only had 2 losing seasons in his entire career. He has coached numerous NFL players, the Stanford Jennings and his brother Mike Jennings who played for the Bears, he was also the HS coach for AJ Green.

That is an average of almost 10 wins a season. 2nd closest for HS wins is 513, the most wiins for a college coach is 86 year old Gagliardi from St Johns with 487 wins in 60 years and of course Shula has 347 in the NFL.

Great night for a great coach. Congrats Coach McKissick!!!!

Yea, it's a great town. i lived there after I got married and then moved to North Charleston, right up the road from there until Hurricane hugo came through in 89 and wiped us out. Moved back here then. Always liked summerville, it's a neat town.
