The Northern Kentucky Athletic Directors Hall of Fame will induct 14 new members on November 8, 2012. The Class is an outstanding one stretching from the 1950’s to 2000. Tickets are available til October 25 at mwebster@bishopbrossart.org

Michelle Cottrell Marston Boone Co. (1994-1998)

 

Michelle Cottrell Marston enjoyed a great high school career at Boone Co. where she participated in basketball, track and volleyball. In basketball, Michelle scored 1800 career points and grabbed 1365 career rebounds leading her team to the 1997 KHSAA State quarterfinals in 1997 and the State semifinals in 1998.. She was First tema and All-State and recipient of the Loyce Meadows and J.B. Mansfield Awards. She continued her career at NKU where she led the 2000 Lady Norse to the Division II NCAA National Championship. She was a three time Kodak All American and national Player of the year as both a Junior and Senior.

 

Those being inducted this year are Bert Capel, Jr., Mike Crittendon, Wendy Rumford Hertzenberg, Katie Holtzapfel, John Madrick, Michelle Cottrell Marston, Doug Peddicord. Wendell Rumford, Michelle Schroder, Robyn Saccone Schroeder and Mike Shoemaker. Diana Meade and Joe Frank will receive the Tom Potter “Distinguished Service Award

A great Honor for Michelle. I got to see her play both basketball and volleyball. She is an awesome athlete and very humble about her talent. She is a great role model for any young female athlete.
