The Class is an outstanding one stretching from the 1950’s to 2000. Tickets are available til October 25 at mwebster@bishopbrossart.org Katie Holtzapfel Ryle (1996-2000) Katie Holtzapfel was a premier soccer and basketball player for Ryle High School. She was a four year starter at Ryle in soccer and as a sophomore set the state record for most assists in a season with 19. She was selected All State four times and was Northern Ky. Player of the Year as a junior. In basketball, she led Ryle to their first ever winning season. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She earned a scholarship to the University of Alabama where she started every game of her career, the only Alabama woman to ever do that. She was an Academic All American. Those being inducted this year are Bert Capel, Jr., Mike Crittendon, Wendy Rumford Hertzenberg, Katie Holtzapfel, John Madrick, Michelle Cottrell Marston, Doug Peddicord. Wendell Rumford, Michelle Schroder, Robyn Saccone Schroeder and Mike Shoemaker. Diana Meade and Joe Frank will receive the Tom Potter “Distinguished Service Award.”
