Harlan County Outlook

What is the outlook for the Harlan County teams in 06? Does anyone know what each team can expect next year or what they have coming back? :argue:

I would like to know too. The little bit I do know is Cumberland was young last year, but I saw somewhere that Washington moved out of the area, if that is true that will hurt he is a good player. Evarts had a lot of key seniors, imo they will be rebuilding. Harlan should be better. They will be typical Harlan, big and physical and play some of the best defense in the mts.

When will Cawood, Evarts and Cumberland beconsolodating into Harlan County High School?

Scheduled opening is fall of 2007 but by looking at the school site that would take a miracle.

The site work is nearly complete however they have not even opened bids for the construction of the school. I believe bids will be opened later this month, so we may have a foundation under construction in February.

Who knows when we'll see the Black Bears take the field???

I know it is early, but is there any talk about who will be the next head football coach? Just wonder if someone local or an outsider will have a chance at this opportunity. Could be a great job with a lot of administration support. Transportation for players and all that would be a key factor.
