SL lays it on Wayne Co. Wayne is obviously struggling this season and SL is at the top of their game!

Just got the score on KHSAA website.... anyone have any info or stats from the game?

Here ya go: Wayne County 14 8 14 20 56

South Laurel 27 27 21 15 90

Wayne County (56) - Perkins 11, Porter 3, Wells 22, Ellis 5, Cunningun 8, Allen 2, Decker 5.

South Laurel (90) - Allen 16, Proffitt 11, Hammonds 18, Smith 15, Goodin 2, Riley 9, Siler 1, Conley 4, Hibbard 4, Bortnam 1, Jones 7, Duncan 2.

South Could have won by 60 if they wanted to. Wright emptied his bench early and often.

Thanks Les!

Looks as if Ty Proffitt's hot hand has cooled off a little since returning from the tourney at Wake Forest! Allen hasnt been putting up the numbers he did last season or earlier this season, but I guess that is to be expected considering most teams probably key on him.

Its good to see Hammonds and Smith contributing as big as they are though; they have both really stepped it up, as has Riley!

Ty scored all 11 in the first half...he didn't play much in the second. He didn't cool off, coach Wright was smart not playing his starters the whole game because of their game later today against Beechwood.

True dat

I think he could run his starters 10 miles in the snow and play then the whole game non stop against Wayne and still handle Beechwood. Beechwood has made improvments in past years, but they are in no way up to the standards of SL.
