How did the KY Naturals do in this tournament?

 

The Naturals finally put it together for a weekend. They played pretty well. They lost in the finals to a very strong Ohio Hawks team, but beat everyone else fairly easy. We played the Hawks in the second of a back to back game for us. Because of the heat, we were pretty tired. Our pitchers were exhausted and we committed several errors by girls that are very solid fielders. Not taking anything away from the Hawks. Felt like they were a very good team. Hitters up and down the lineup and very skilled defensively. Not that it would have changed the outcome, but I would like to play them fresh to get a sense of where we are. The way the tournament worked out, we played 3 on Sunday and they only had to play two. And like I mentioned, we played them back to back, while they were coming off a break. No excuses, you play the cards that are dealt. But just wanted to explain why I'd like to play them with a fresh team.

Awesome. Congratulations to the Naturals on a very nice weekend and playing in the finals. I know the goal is always to win the tournament, but anytime you play three on Sunday and are in the finals that is a pretty good weekend. Congrats and good luck next weekend, if you are playing.
