The Kentucky Xplosion 16U go 3-0 in pool play on Saturday beating Westside Thunder 6-1, Miamisburg Sting-95 17-4, & Cincy Slammers Blue 16U 12-5 and advance to Sunday morning and the single elimination bracket. Unfortunatly this morning thay started out like the Kentucky "IMPLOSION" as they surrender 6 in the 1st inning to the Miami County Blaze on a combination of bloops, dinkers, walks, errors, & mental mistakes. However they put all that aside an chip away to tie the score at 6-6 in the top of the 6th, but the Blaze plate 1 run in the bottom of the 6th to win, 7-6. This week at the Columbus Showdown Showcase.

Nice to win the first 3 but tough to lose the first game in bracket play. Sounds like they had a nice weekend except for one inning. Good luck next weekend in Columbus.

Yes they did. I understand you are going to have one of those "games or innings", but Lord have mercy, it was PAINFUL to watch. However they did bounce back the rest of the game and played great "D", recorded double plays in back to back innings. They just couldn't get that extra key hit to fall to break things open.

Nice Job!
