Owen County's Carson Williams was named to the Top 20 All Star team. Malik Dow (Louisville) and Quentin Goodin (Taylor Co) were named to the Top 40 Team. Congrats to these players for representing KY so well!

fab_frosh_logo.jpgOwen County High School freshman Carson Williams made quite a splash last weekend on the national basketball scene.

The 6-foot-5 Williams was selected and played in the Top 20 All-American Game at the Fab Frosh Camp in Suwanee, Ga., just outside of Atlanta.

The camp was for the top players in the Class of 2016 nationally.

Williams and Taylor County’s Quentin Goodin were named to the Team MKG from the camp, which was selected in honor of former Kentucky star Michael Kid-Gilchrist and went to the players who went the hardest in the event.

Goodin, Malik Dow and Braxton Beverly all played well at the event.

His older brother, Sawyer, is 6'8. So it is definitely possible.
