The Wildcats improve to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in District play with a win in New Castle. They are also unbeaten in conference play. They will conclude District play next week when they host Owen on Wednesday and travel to Carroll on Friday.

I think the GC Wildcats are surprising some people due to their lack of size and no real " go to " player. With another player returning from injury( sophomore ) , they now look to be nine deep with mostly interchangable parts and should be 8-10 deep for the next 5-6 years. This is a luxury that Coach Jones has never had at Gallatin, not even the 1998-99 team that went 29-3 and were state runner-up in the All "A" Classic , and that team only went 5 deep.
