Final from London. Somerset sweeps the doubleheader and spoils the Cardinals senior night. Somerset senior Taylor Speaks broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the seventh with an RBI single and came home on a single by Justin Smith to set the final margin. Sophomore Charlie Dishman pitched two shutout innings to pick up the win. He also had a 2-run double and single at the plate. The Briar Jumpers are now 21-11 on the season.

Seven total. However, out of the normal starting lineup there are only five: C/CF Storm Wilson, P/3B Jarred Price, P/OF Andy Manning, OF Curtis Pelston and 1B/P Taylor Speaks.

I know watching them last night that they are some big younguns on that team.....On most nights South Laurel starts 5 freshmen so they might seem to be smaller for that reason. Freshman Daniel Neal has hit 10 HR's this year, he's about 6'3 but not really filled out yet.
