Kelsey and Mackenzie Ogden both went yard for the Panthers. Mackenzie also hit 2 over in the JV game. Big district game tonight against Owen Co.

Didn't the Mackenzie Ogden leave Owen Co for Carroll. If so I would think that would be a fairly intense game.

Congrats to Coach Hawkins and the Panthers. JV game?

Will also be intense due to being a 31st District rivalry. The Panther program is on the uptick right now and Owen is coming off of a great showing in the All A. The 31st District right now is as competitive as I have ever seen it without a clearcut favorite. Henry, Carroll, Owen , or Gallatin could win the 31st this season.

They both hit one in the Varsity game. Mackenzie added 2 more in the JV game. She hit 3 in the double header.

Yes,6th grade.

Gotcha. I assume the numbers in the Panther softball program extremely low at this point for best Varsity player to be playing JV. Numbers at Gallatin good right now, although that does not mean continued success down the road. Again, congrats to the Panthers.

Getting some pitching in. They all play JV except for their 1 senior.

Does she ever get any varsity innings in the circle?

Just a couple of times. She pitched 2 2/3 innings in relief vs. VW allowing only 1 baserunner, HBP, and against Pinkerington Ohio 3 shutout innings. She just pitches 1 inning of JV per game just in case she is needed for Varsity. BTW those 2 HR's in JV were in the same inning that she pitched.

She was hitting dimple balls 240+ in BP yesterday.
