Please tell me this is not all Bellevue has scheduled. I know Coach Blevins was not at the scheduling meeting, but come on, they couldn't find more games than this????? If so this is truly sad and I feel sorry for the girls who are being cheated from playing more games. I think the AD and Principal need to take a hard, long look at the softball program before it hits rock bottom, if it hasn't already hit there.

They already cancelled against NewCath last week......Here is what I posted in another thread about that.

Bellevue's coach Rick Blevins called the school (NewCath) instead of contacting Coach Barnes, whose cell number he has. Used the excuse that Bellevue had an Awards Banquet.......When Coach Barnes contacted the Bellevue principal to tell him this is the second year in a row that Bellevue has cancelled a game on such short notice he was told they moved the start time of the Awards Banquet to accomadate the game, thus catching Coach Blevins in a LIE. Also heard that when the Coaches had their scheduling meeting in September Rick Blevins wasn't even there. Bottomline..... the Bellevue softball program is a JOKE and Newcath will NOT schedule them anymore. Totally sad on a perfect day not to play a game, both teams lost out in this one thanks to Coach Rick Blevins.

Very sad to hear this. I would assume they need to schedule a few more games just to satisfy their conference schedule. I believe Heritage, Villa and Covington Latin are in their conference among the few teams they have scheduled. The only games they have scheduled outside of their conference is Newport, NewCath and Campbell County, and who knows from the sound of this they may cancel those games. This is truly very sad for the girls and school if this is really their complete schedule. What makes their coach qualified for this position? Just curious what experience he has or why they would have hired him. How long has he been the coach at Bellevue?

I see we are on there
