  1. Rowan pitched the same pitcher both times against East when they played during the season. East didnt see Rowan's #1, #2 and #3 pitchers.
  2. Regionals will be tough. Rowan is playing really good now.
  3. No doubt 1992 was the year! Plus, a lot of those guys mentioned played on the same summer league teams during their high school years. Brian Green was drafted by the Cubs after Indiana. Scott Hacker pitched in the Minors after Morehead State. Brian Cottengim should be on that list as he played for Thomas More.
  4. Don't be surprised if Rowan is the team in the 16th everyone is talking about later this year that could match up with Greenup. Rowan has more pitching on the team this year than last. A lot of good young arms that throw hard. There's potential there.
  5. I strongly disagree with that. Who knows what Rowan is going to do or not on Thursday. Only those who are apart of the program would know. But if I had a MLB top pick in my rotation I would pitch him against the best teams out there. Planck already beat West Carter. There's no guarantee Rowan is going to face Greenup or West in Region. Greenup might have to face West. Who knows at this point.
  6. What's your reasoning on why you would say not to pitch Planck? That makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't a team use their best pitcher during the season against the best team in the State? What happens on Thursday shouldn't effect what is going to happen in the Regional Tourney. Meaning it will not effect Rowan if they throw Planck on Thursday and happen to throw him again against them in the Regional Tourney if that happens. Planck is Planck..he's going to dominate even if a team sees him twice. Greenup is the best team right now. We will see on Thursday if that holds up.
  7. I guess we will see on Thursday when they play Rowan Co.
