  1. The principle is hard for anyone to get along with. He is a pawn that is doing what the rest of the county wants done. He wants to leave and nobody wants him here but I guess he had some work to finish before he goes.
  2. Bahahahaha. That is funny. Keep telling yourself that!
  3. I'm not trying to convince anyone, just letting mustang know he's got a Shirt coming his way if he will ever fork over his address! The only opinion we care about is the khsaa. I will never be able to change the haters minds. We've answered our questions to the khsaa and our boys are eligible so it's time for everybody to get over it. Let our boys enjoy this moment! Spit your hate at somebody else, our kids have dealt with enough!
  4. Hahahaha..everything you just said is false! And you're on here telling other people to do research? I hope they don't use the same methods that you used. Please don't intentionally get on here and tell lies..I know that probably hard being a Knott fan.
  5. What address should we send that shirt to? Zeke Biallas born and raised here. Oumar Keita came as an 8th grader. AJ Chisolm and Ramon Mercado both came their freshman year. Kareem McDonald currently freshman. Anthony Nelson came as a sophmore and has only played high school basketball at Cordia HS. And you can cut the sleeves off yourself.
  6. Cordia has beaten Perry Central, Warren Central, and Hazard (twice). They also just lost to Knott Central by 2 but had them down by as many as 17! Oh well!
  7. Your correct a basketball court is a safe place to be. I was talking about in the event that these two teams meet in the region. I've already heard many people saying that if something is not done to the Cordia player then there's "gonna be trouble". I was trying to encourage everyone not to fuel to the fire so that every redneck from BOTH sides doesn't come to the game looking to fight. If the stands are filled with people ready to fight, THEN it becomes a dangerous environment. I also agree that throwing hands is not part of the game but neither is elbows. Anytime someone strikes another person it is an assault whether it be a punch, a kick, an elbow, or even a push! Assaulting someone is always serious no matter how it was done or why it was done. That's why there are rules against it and punishments for it. The fact of the matter is, is that this is not the first and unfortunately will not be the last. You can talk till your blue in the face, put it on every news station in the world, and throw Chapman in prison and it will not stop it. I was hoping that people would see that if we keep showing the video and keep talking about it, then it only makes people more angry. So if the stands are filled with angry people and the players come in angry, guess what's gonna happen on the first little bump!! And when I say "talking about it", I mean saying how "enraged" they are and how he should never be allowed to play again, etc. If talking about it helps prevent it, then do it in a responsible way. Such as informing students/players about how to control their anger, or about how this action is going to follow Chapman for a long time. The way I've heard most people talking about it is NOT gonna prevent it, its only making people more angry!! How do you let them resolve it? A fight till the death!!!!!! Just kidding. Let them figure it out. Its not anyone's place to be telling either of them what they should do or how they should feel. If they can talk and Johnson can forgive, great! If they decide that Johnson gets a swing at Chapman, great! If Johnson doesn't want to forgive, great! At least they are in control of the outcome! People need to stop saying this needs to be done, that needs to be done!!! We are not Chapman and we are not Johnson. I do believe however that Johnson is a good person and has the capacity to eventually forgive. It may not be right now but eventually. That is, if people will let him!
  8. I have never replied to threads on this site...just enjoyed reading them but felt like I needed to say something about this subject. I was at the game and Johnson was playing a very physical game that night. There was pushing, elbows thrown, and jawing all night! I personally remember screaming at the refs to call something and nothing was ever called! I also remember two instances where after Johnson made a basket/dunk and as he was running off turned to a Cordia player and said something...should have been T'd but he wasn't! Also have seen video of him throwing an elbow and then shoving a Cordia player and it was not called. I'm saying all of this, not to demonize Johnson, but to let you know what type of game was being played. I think some people have tried to portray the incident as "out of the blue", as if Chapman just picked a player and decided to clock him. This was not the case. It had been building up all game! Both received a warning earlier and Chapman even told one ref that," you had better stop him". With that being said, Johnson did not deserve to be clocked!!!! Chapman should have kept his cool! I hope that he has learned that what he has done is not acceptable! For what its worth, he felt terrible after the game and has tried to call Johnson. He couldn't reach him but has sent a text. Not sure what all was said but I was told he said that Johnson owed him one. Please don't take what I said above as an attempt to paint Johnson as the bad guy because he wasn't. Being physical is part of the game and some games are played more aggressively. There was a lot of pressure on both these teams to win because it was a big game. And Johnson has a lot of pressure put on him to be physical and aggressive! I've heard people criticize Johnson after certain games saying he was too "soft". I've also heard people use "soft" to describe Cordia's whole team! So, if people put pressure on these kids to be more "aggressive", it will result in more fights because these are KIDS!!! Kids who make bad judgments and have trouble controlling their emotions. I'm not saying this to downplay what happened, I just want people to see that Chapman is not a monster and hope that people will not judge him from the horrible choice that he made. I truly hate that this happened because I have always felt that if one school ever supported Cordia, it was PCC. They were extremely nice to our players last year after we lost to them in the region. I've also heard many PCC students take up for Cordia when people start their "recruiting" garbage! I've talked to some Cordia players and they said they hated that it happened too because they thought Johnson was "cool". They also went on to talk about what a good player he was and that he deserved to get 14th region player of the year. There are some people that are using what happened to turn this into a whole Cordia/PCC thing and to feed the anti-Cordia sentiment and I think its a shame! It'll only make things worse next time these boys play which, could possibly be in the region. This is something that happened between Chapman and Johnson so lets let them resolve it! Hopefully these two can talk or already have talked and be on good terms so, the next time they play it'll be a good clean game. But if people keep feeding this, it could be dangerous!! It's the kids that have to play the game and its our job as adults to make it a safe environment for them. So everybody just needs to chill!!
