  1. It's halftime. Beechwood is very physical up front on both sides. Russellville did not seem prepared for that. HB for Beechwood is extremely tough. Panthers also are having trouble with being disciplined. Several penalties and two unsportsman like penalties. If Coach Myers can not figured out how to get the ball to the outside, it will be a long night for the Panthers. For losing so many seniors last year, I'm extremely impressed at Beechwoods talent and discipline. Let's see what second half brings.
  2. What is the weather forecast for tonight other than cold?!? Just went through Russellville. Very large fan base that seems to be heading up for the game. Seems like it's going to be an awesome atmosphere tonight!!! Good luck to both teams!
  3. Yes they are smaller up front on both size then normal. If memory serves me right, there are 10+ seniors that Russellville has playing and more than 7 starters on each side of the line that returned from last year. The travel to Beechwood will definitely affect the fan base that shows. I was at the Franklin game and was very impressed by the panthers. If not for 3 big runs back to back for scores by the wildcats, the finish would have been an awesome game. Beechwood has the edge against the Panthers in the win column and the home field advantage. I'll be anxious to see how the Panthers offense responds to Beechwoods defense. That will difinitely be the key to the winning the game.
  4. This is definitely going to be a hard fought game. Size will be against Russellville during this game. However, speed and experience will be key for the Panthers. Beechwood has an solid defense and and very good skill players on the defensive side of the ball. The Panthers are going to have to do more than run between the tackles to win! It was an excellent game last year, and I think both teams are evenly matched this year! I give the edge to Beechwood because they are at home. My game calculator calls is 28 - 27 Russellville. I honestly don't know but it will be a show! Good luck To both teams!
  5. That's correct on the address. AM 610 - WRUS - Russellville, KY This is the link for the game. Go to this website then click on live sports link. Game time is 6 pm CT. Go Panthers! Good luck to both schools.
  6. I made a call to someone in the Russellville program and I'm told they are at full staff. I believe they may even have a linebacker back who has been out a few weeks.
  7. Sorry Faux, I wasn't actually referring on Preps, I have just received inquiries about if I was going to the game from some friends of mine from the BW area and there lack of confidence in Russellville ability to play had just shocked me a little because I have seen first had their ability. I hope it's a great game. It better be since I'm driving an hour to watch it lol
  8. I've been a Mayfield Cardinal fan years and have been to many games and have seen the Panthers play. Russellville is not a slouch team as some hav made it sound. Myers does an outstanding job with them. I do agree that Beechwood has the advantage and is the better all around ball club on paper, but if any of the BW players come in with the Mentality thinking their going to beat Russellville easily, it will be a long night in WKY. I give the edge to BW, but if the players think like some of the fans, we may be talking about an upset on Saturday Morning.
  9. Russellville lost big to Murray, however, they were inside the 10 yard line of Murray and fumbled 4 times and had a total of 7 fumbles on the night. Beechwood is a tough team who has a strong offense. If beechwood does not contain Rvilles #26 or # 4, the Panthers may pull this one out. For Wky sake, I call it Russellville 24 Beechwood 21
