  1. Oh no I do not believe he is leaving the teaching position. His heart is at Boone, he's said that before
  2. Well actually as soon as the BG coach was announced he announced he was leaving so that is fact but the rumor is where he is going
  3. I heard from a reliable person I know today that former Defensive Coordinator Kyle Niederman from BCHS is going to go to Lloyd. Is this some kind of reunion over at the Jugs House? Has anyone gotten any word if Howard was following Turner to Jugs or not?
  4. Man you always get me with a position question, I knew as soon as I posted you would be on it. He played DL, depending if BCHS keeps the 3-3-5 stack then he will be Nose Guard. Just mainly look for him on the interior DL.
  5. Well if you really think about it the leadership and talent TT has could be a great addition to the Bengals, not saying Dalton isn't a great leader at QB I'm saying having TT could greatly enhance the Bengals roster.
  6. Tyler Hickman from Boone County is built like a tank and is a great football player, not a senior but will be a Junior. He should be interesting to watch and watch develop this year and the following.
  7. Niederman is supposedly considering either Conner, Cooper, or Ryle. That was the buzz around here but it may have just been rumored. If anything I expect maybe a move to Ryle seeing that is where he started out and is respected and acknowledge there. Nieman was the JV coach last year but I wouldnt say the record of the JV team accurately reflects the coaching ability Greg has.
  8. He was the DB coach for BCHS, a younger coach and wasn't on payroll but he was a great addition to the coaching staff seeing as he played DB for BCHS in 08. Really gets along with the players and cares, he definitely pushes them because he doesn't take excuses and challenges them.
  9. I think if the Bengals are lucky and have any intelligence they would be smart to consider throwing in a bid for TT. He would be a powerful asset to the Bengals offense at FB and TE, not to mention he could go in at back up QB if the situation were to come up when Dalton needs to come out.
  10. Just as Eric Turner decided to set up shop at Lloyd with Jugs, BCHS coach Greg Nieman as decided to follow him as well. The real question is will the Jugs mimic the ground and pound Rebel offense they were known for along with their powerful defensive prowess? I think Lloyd will be a good team to check out when the Fall rolls around
  11. As a former player for Coach Turner I think the Jugs picked up a great coach that has a lot of love and experience for the sport. Good luck coach in your new home.
