  1. I've seen Greenup play twice this year and they have no where near the talent of Rowan or Ashland, let alone West Carter. They are just not that talented. Got some good parts, but weak overall.
  2. One name that nobody mentioned is Spencer Perrin former Boyle County standout. If Boyle would have made the state tourney his senior year, he would have had more recognition. He went juco two years, then finished up the last two years at EKU, where I saw him play. Amazing athlete. Two year starter for EKU. Now is overseas playing professionally.
  3. [ A basketball coach gets suspended he serves a MINIMUM 3 game suspension in a 23 game schedule. I agree with punishment, but let the punishment be equal for all sports coaches. That does sound unfair on the surface, but how many times have you seen a football coach get ejected, compared to a bball coach? For a football coach to get ejected it has to be something severe, just listen to what a fball coach can get away with compared to a bball coach. May be the confines of the gym compared to an open playing field, but a bball coach could not even come close to saying what a fball coach could say. Lots of more leeway for a fball coach.
  4. Come on guys, holding on to rumors? Isn't that what this site is all about, starting, sharing, and analyzing rumors? Does it involve transfers, suspensions? C'mon give us something.
  5. West Carter needs Rayburn to be more consistent in being the "man" every game. While he is a nice guy, IMO I think he needs to be a little more assertive everytime he steps on the court. He has the size and ability to dominate the 16th if he does that, along with continuing to work on his game. I really like his skills and potential.
  6. I agree with all that you have said, they are an important part of the preparation for the Varsity. My point was that they sometimes/often do not get to practice or prepare with their team only. Many times the JV is the scout team, or doesn't get much court time.
  7. I agree, the JV coach is game coach in most programs. It is hard for some schools to find practice time with their JV.
  8. There are some good coaches there from what I've seen. I like what Petrey and Conley do at Lincoln and Edwards is a great X and O guy. Sisler I like too. Boyle's JV coach seems to do a good job as well he seems to be an up and comer.
