  1. I think people put to much stock in WR's..."see ocho cinco without Palmer"....I don't care who your WR's are, teams cannot crowd the line of scrimmage with Cutler at QB....It changes the whole game...It takes that safety out of the box that has been there for the last 20 years against the Bears....Throw in the fact that Forte is tough...I think the Bears are contenders...
  2. I know I'm in the minority, but I think this guy can get us over the hump...He is a run producer...sign him, put him in the 4 hole, move phillips to the 2 hole, and ride it out as long as he stays healthy, platoon Dickerson and Taveras in center and let Sheff swing the bat...I understand he struggled last year, but he is healthier and the cost will not be much..
  3. One more thing to add about River Downs...Last time I was there at a live meet they gave free pony rides to kids!!! Which was alot of fun in that atmosphere (for kids and grownups)..
  4. My questions on this game...I have not seen Shelby Valley 1. Who guards Middleton (with him being 6'4)? 2. Can Downing stay out of foul trouble and bother Justice with his length or are Hamm and Gilbert better suited to guard Justice? 3. Can SV big man match up athletically with Pawsat and Barner? 4. Can Pawsat physically match up with the big guy. Mason Co. is a very versatile team, they can change there whole makeup without losing anything talentwise. Should be a great game. I'll guess and take Mason by 3.
  5. As a Mason Co. fan my entire life, a very small percentage of folks in Mason County want the tourney anywhere but the Fieldhouse. Call it what you want selfishness, greed, etc. I honestly don't think anyone cares what outsiders think. Why do you think we want it at the Fielhouse? 1. Pride of our program, gym, and community 2. Revenue 3. Memories of the past and wanting similar memories in the future 4. We are a stubborn bunch (see BGP and Chris Lofton to Tenn. situation) BOK is a beautiful arena, but by just looking at the pictures posted there is 0 chance that it had as much atmosphere as the Fieldhouse (to at least a Royals fan).
